This series takes place as part of the BPM330 "Mindfulness-Informed Interventions for Mental Health" course at the University of Toronto
About this event:
The Buddhism, Psychology and Mental Health Program is honored to host a series of online lectures this fall, given by esteemed scholars and professionals who are leaders in their respective fields. Their work integrates diverse disciplines, traditional and ancient approaches, a wide range of applications, and fosters culturally sensitive and trauma-informed mental health and wellbeing in mindfulness-informed applications. The guest lecturers bring varied and rich cultural and lived experiences. In this lecture series, we will continue to explore ways of incorporating mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) into biomedical mental health approaches from professional, societal, and personal perspectives. This series is sponsored by New College at the University of Toronto
