Healing collective trauma, dealing with cultural differences, from a PBSP perspective
This presentation is for therapists, supervisors, trainers and PBSP trainees.
Linda and Henny will both present their views and some case histories on dealing with collective trauma, cultural differences, political issues and violence and aspects of healing both from a PBSP perspective as well as from cultural resources. Linda, born in Vietnam, grew up in Australia and now lives and works in Alaska (USA), she works with immigrants, adult children of refugees, descendants of genocide survivors, and war victims. Henny worked and researched for decades in many African countries with traumatized women and men, focusing on gender based violence and trauma as a weapon of war.
