In this 90-minute workshop, Linda Thai will guide us in rethinking secure attachment through a framework that extends beyond early caregivers and the nuclear family. While Attachment Theory has offered many valuable insights, its traditional lens often falls short in addressing the systemic forces and diverse relational networks that shape our clients’ sense of security.

In this workshop you will:

• Recognize the limits of traditional Attachment Theory in diverse clinical contexts
  
• Identify how systemic oppression shapes attachment experiences and identity
  
• Expand the conceptualization of secure attachment to better reflect the holistic interrelationality of the human experience
  
• Integrate community, culture, and chosen family as protective factors in therapy
  
• Support clients in moving from isolation toward belonging and relational healing
  
• Participate in a LIVE Q&A with Linda Thai
