Event Details

Dates: Oct 16th, Oct 23rd, Nov 6th, Nov 13th, Nov 20th, Dec 4th

Time: 3:00PM ET - 4:30PM ET (Eastern Daylight Standard Time)

Traditional attachment theory often leaves out the impacts of colonization, displacement, systemic oppression, and ancestral loss — the very forces that shape so much of our relational wounding.

In Missing Pieces of Attachment Theory: A Decolonized Approach, Linda Thai offers a framework that honors both the science of attachment and the lived realities of marginalized and diasporic peoples.

You’ll learn how intergenerational trauma, cultural rupture, and systemic injustice show up in attachment patterns, and how to support repair in ways that are culturally attuned and justice-centered.

This course equips clinicians and healers with the tools to move beyond Eurocentric models and toward a more holistic, liberatory understanding of human connection.
