Linda is pleased to announce that she will be the closing keynote for the annual Citizens Review Panel conference, which will be held this year in San Diego, California.
Any state that receives federal funding under the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) is required to establish a Citizen Review Panel (CRP). The panel's purpose is to provide opportunities for citizens to contribute to reviewing whether the state is meeting its goal of protecting children from abuse and neglect.

Workshops will focus on strategies to transform the Child Welfare system to a Child and Family Well-Being system, including the transformative power of Family First Prevention Services and innovative ways to support former foster youth as they transition to adulthood. The conference will provide a valuable experience for anyone interested in Child Welfare system transformation, whether or not they are involved with the Citizen Review Panels.
